In addition to the Arpaia Fine Jewelry Collections in silver and vermeil, Kimberly's Empress Couture creations are luxe custom designs in high karat gold, genuine precious and semi-precious gemstones, and lustrous fine pearls. The gold in the Empress designs is handcrafted by artisans all over the world. A favored artist of the Designer is a seventh generation goldsmith from India, and his 22 karat gold is displayed throughout the photographs on this page. Also, Bali-style handcrafted gold from Indonesia is predominant in several Empress pieces.

The client who commissioned this work loves crystal as much as the designer. The color of the crystal beautifully matches the pearls and the gold-plated wire shimmers through. In lieu of crystal, diamond beads or colored gemstones would look smashing in this design.
